Video clipsReport from - Soccernet.com Struggling Swansea City could have their Second Division fate settled when they go to Port Vale on Monday after claiming a point in a goalless draw with promotion-chasing Rotherham.
The Swans were given a glorious chance to take the lead two minutes after half-time when Rotherham goalkeeper Paul Pettinger brought Walter Boyd tumbling down inside the penalty area. Referee Graham Barber booked Pettinger and awarded the spot-kick, but the'keeper made amends when he went down low to his left to keep out Matthew Bound's effort.
Swansea kept pressing and both David Romo and Giovanni Savarese went close. But it was Rotherham who might have snatched all three points had it not been for home goalkeeper Roger Freestone pulled off a fine save to keep out a Guy Branston header with time running out.
