    Lister's view - Brian Price

Started off unchanged from Saturday and reasonably brightly, especially Sidibe up front.

Surreal atmosphere - only one side of the ground left, about 100 Jacks stuck down in one corner with the usual high percentage of coppers joining us.

Weird temporary lighting making things look very dark - whole thing resembled a reserve match/training match type atmosphere. Couldn't really believe I was watching a professional footy match.

Couldn't believe I was watching a professional footy match further as I witnessed THE worst refereeing performance I've ever had the (dis)pleasure of watching.

No one could put in a challenge in the air or on the ground without the ref blowing for a four. Matters came to a head when a Plymouth player fell like a tonne of bricks with his arms flailing looking for a penalty with O'Leary (I think) merely standing behind him jockeying.

1-0 Plymouth. We still looked reasonably good going forward but allowed them to start playing too much and they came more into it.

2nd goal on the stroke of half-time was a sickener. Mazzina failed to trap a ball in the middle of the park unchallenged and the ball found it's way out to Buster Phillips who skinned Howard and crossed for Nicky Banger to head into the bottom corner. From where I was it looked a bit sift with Rog looking a bit slow to get down.

A minute later we should've had a penno of our own. Tyson ran through to catch a through ball but an Argyle defender got there first - but the keeper continued in his quest and completely took Tyson out. OK, the defender took the ball, but the keeper made no attempt to do anything but end Tyson's season.

2nd half started witt them hitting the bar immediately and looking like they were going to run us ragged. Up stepped master tactician JH bringing on Todd for Mazina and reverting to 3-5-2.

We then began to string the ball about well and totally dominated them for about 10/15 mins until we decided to give another soft goal away and it was game over.

JH brougt on Cusack for Roberts and if anyone can tell me what formation we were playing for the remainder of the game I'd like to meet them.

Sidibe pulled one back and 60 seconds later should've added a 2nd. Great cross, great header, just wide... Would have been very interesting last 10 mins if that would have gone in.

Signs are bad. JH out today.

Plymouth Argyle moved up to eighth in Division Three with a 3-1 success over Swansea.

Argyle's victory was the first home win and came after a stylish first-half performance as they went two goals in front.

They took a 14th-minute lead through Paul Wooton from the penalty spot, after striker Micky Evans had been fouled by Kris O'Leary.

Nicky Banger, making his first start after joining Plymouth on a three-month contract, increased the home side's lead just before half time. A superb cross from man-of-the-match Martin Phillips was headed on by Banger and into the far corner.

Phillips capped his man-of-the-match performance in the 61st minute when he finished from close range after Evans had headed on Wooton's free-kick.

Swansea hit back in the 79th minute when Mamady Sidibe pounced on a mistake in the home defence.

He missed a golden opportunity to double his tally a minute later when he glanced a Matthew Bound cross just wide.
