To the 5,077 people that turned up tonight to support Roger. It was certainly much appreciated by Keith and myself and more than anyone Roger who despite extreme nerves about 6.30 saw the night go with the fun that should be associated with testimonials.

Thanks as well to the board of Swansea City for their support in this match and also to every single player who turned out including Robbo, Big Jules and Jonah along with Curt and a cameo from Cyril. Also particular thanks to Alan Tate, Leon Britton and Leon Hylton for staying with the club for the testimonial and also to Marc Richards who would have been there bar a late call back to Ewood Park.

Also thanks to Brian Flynn and Kevin Reeves for allowing the 'guests' to appear on the night. The catering staff at the Vetch and all the usual people who turned out without payment for a loyal and great servant to this club. Without all of these tonight would simply not have happened.

Roger deserved that and he certainly enjoyed it and I can safely say that watching football without the fear of relegation hanging over you is a thoroughly nice experience

Agree Chelsea didn't really enter into the spirit as their youngsters were arguing over decisions a little and seemed intent on winning. Ranieri must have thought the Italian translation of testimonial was something else. Who would have thought we'd see 5 more goals at the hull game? Where were the dodgy penalties so beloved of testimonials?

Martinez was the best player on the pitch even in this company and controlled the game - he is pure class.

Williams put more effort into this than most league games (someone should have told him Ranieri doesn't sign British players) and great to see Steve Jones, Stuey Roberts and Alsop playing - was that the last time we'll see Leon or Tate??

Cyril looked good but I felt he should have played on the wing....I'll get my coat
