Cheltenham 2-1 Swansea
Cheltenham 2-1 Swansea - Match Report by Soccernet, Pictures Andrew Thomas

Former Swansea striker Paul Connor scored against his old club to help Cheltenham come from behind and ease their relegation fears with a 2-1 victory at Whaddon Road.

The home side trailed to a Lee Trundle diving header in the first half but deservedly levelled just before the interval when goalkeeper Willy Gueret spilled a John Finnegan shot enabling striker Kayode Odejayi to poke home the loose ball.

Cheltenham's winner came midway through the second half when Connor was able to pounce on a loose ball and drill his shot past Gueret from just inside the penalty area. A frantic finale saw a flurry of yellow cards while Dennis Lawrence had a penalty appeal turned down.
