SWANS THROUGH IN CUP DERBY - Evening Post
The incident occurred after 32 minutes of Swansea's 3-1 win when Sheffield signalled to referee Tony Bates after allegedly being verbally abused by County manager Peter Beadle.
Lee Trundle had given Swansea the lead after seven minutes, breaking the offside trap before rounding Mark Ovendale to slot into an empty net.
Newport emerged resurgent after the break and got their reward four minutes into the restart when Ian Hillier stabbed home from close range despite the best efforts of Swans keeper Willy Gueret.
