Swansea caretaker manager Kevin Nugent felt his side were unfortunate to be beaten 1-0 at promotion-chasing Yeovil.
New Swans manager Roberto Martinez watched on from the stands as Marcus Stewart scored the only goal of the game to leave Swansea five points adrift of the top six.
Nugent said: "I shall be speaking with Roberto on Monday about the future but I don't see a problem. I have a contract with Swansea and I'm very happy.
"The players have given me everything in the three matches I have been in charge and I thought we should have got something out of the game.
"We had what I consider was a stick-on penalty which wasn't given and the goal we conceded was very disappointing. There were three lads at the back and one of them didn't pick up the lad who scored."
The penalty incident that Nugent referred to came two minutes into the second half when Andy Robinson went down under a tackle from Martin Brittain but referee Tony Bates ruled that the midfielder had dived.
Victory for the Glovers lifted them into second place and their manager Russell Slade admitted they were made to work hard for the points.
He said: "They were three vital points for us. All the ingredients were there for a tough battle between two sides who were obviously trying to get out of this league.
"I thought we settled the better and moved the ball around with a little more ease than Swansea.
"There were not many clear chances but we had good possession and got the ball into the box quite a lot.
"However, it's not easy when you're up against defenders who are six foot seven and six foot two and I thought Swansea defended well in their own box.
"Towards the end we could have seen a couple of red cards instead of yellow when we had two men brought down when they were clean through. The challenges were cynical but they got away with it."

Our season is over ! a combination of poor tactics , fitness and injuries have ended our playoff hopes in my view.
Start of the season we needed a
commanding goal keeper , Centre half and creative central midfielder to build on last season. The club has failed in all three departments on these issues.
We have no leader on the pitch , no organiser at the back and we have two strikers out of form with no pace between them.
We have match winners but no solid base to grind out results.
on the squad i think painter looks good but there has been no improvement from last season and the current crop needs culling unless we're happy to
remain midtable for the next couple of seasons.
Darren Lambden (Yeovil Jack)
I live very near Yeovil so i watched my first game of the season today taking my son Jack and my father (ex pro footballer).
I didnt expect too much considering the goings on at the club recently and so it proved.
The team lacked confidence and really didnt look like scoring.
The first half was a poor advert for league one football but the game improved after the break and more so after Yeovil went 1-0 up.
They were content to sit on the lead but the Swans tried in vain late on the pull off a draw.
Yeovil shaded the game (just)but the Swans will be very lucky to get in to the play offs looking at this performance.
Anyway here's my ratings.
Oakes 7. Looked assured, talked to the back four a lot.
Amankwaah 5 Ok going forward but didnt really defend.
Austin 5 Got injured early on not really involved.
Lawrence 4 Too laid back, not commanding enough.
Painter 6 Worked hard better second half.
Britton 7 Our best player but faded late on
Tate 7 Much better when dropped back to centre half but cant pass the ball forward.
KOL 6 Some great tackles but little ball skill.
Robinson 5 Not really involved tried hard the odd time.
Trundle 6 No service lokked out of it some flashes mow and then.
Abbott 3 Dont make me laugh, not fit no clue, dont tell me he's better than Fallon at least with Fallon you had someone prepared to get involved.
Subs
Crainey 6 Better second half when he started working.
Jones 4 Didnt really have time to get into it.
Overall a bit dissapointing Swansea need a big confidence injection soon,I Martinez can turn it around so we must give him time like we did Jackett when he first arrived.
I believe Martinez will getthem playing it on the deck but he needs a strong No. 2.

Plenty of effort - backed up with no ability, thought , width , pace ambition the list is endless.

Amankwaah -5 passing poor defended ok some important headed clearances, no likn with britton.
Austin -6 started ok looking solid till forced off early.
Laurence-7 won every header from their corners, looks a little laid back sometimes.
Painter -6 solid looks like he is in 2nd gear, has no pace no linking with robinson but thats not easy. not comfortable in opposing half.
Britton -6 started brightly didn't see enough of the ball drifted out of the game.
O'Leary -7 defended superbly won all his tackles and contests. not much wrong.
Tate -6 started well in midfield and had good first half. couldn't pass the ball from the back very lucky not to cost us 2 goals.

Some thoughts on today's match.
1. One of the worst matches I have seen between teams of professional players.
2. I rarely, if ever, criticse referees but that was THE worst and most laughable refereeing performance I have seen in all my 47 years of watching live football.
3. If we have seen the second best team in this division today then I am even more gutted that we aren't 10 points clear at the top because, for all our faults (and, let's face it, we were clueless) Yeovil were not that much better. How many clear chances did they create at home against a team who, on current form, are probably one of the worst in the division?
4. We had 11 players on the pitch for 90+ minutes but at no time did they resemble a team.
5. Still 2 points needed to reach the safety number of 50 and that should be Robbie's first target.
6. Good to see Oakes given a somewhat belated chance. Thought he did well and made several well timed runs out of his goal to clear danger which must have given the defenders the sort of reassurance they have not had for quite some time.
7. The last thing I heard as I left the ground was Haydn shouting "Rubbish!" at the top of his voice. He always likes the last word.
8. Never nice driving home after a defeat so glad that I was home before 6pm.
Haydn Eames : Cwmdare
If ever you wanted a reason why the two lasy useless scousers should be booted out from the Club. Was watching them today.
Until this happens we will just fall (maybe fall is the wrong word) into the bottom half of the League.
I expected today for Yeovil to play us off the park, especially having seen them three times already this season.
To my surprise and after the about 15 minutes I felt we could have had something out of the game, even if it was only a point.
It would have stopped Yeovil going that two points further away from us and with Rotherham on Tuesday night and then Leyton Orient next Saturday, we could possibly get our season maybe back together with an outside chance of getting that last play-off place.
Then comes the nonsense,
From a possible harsh free kick given against Lawrence. The ball came over into the six yard box, and who was there???? None other than the little midget scouseman, who didn't have a clue how to defend it, With the result that the ball was buried into the back of the net. Oakes had no chance, who I thought had a really good game.
I think the scouser was told in no uncertain terms by Tate, Laawrence and Painter, in what the hell was he doing there, but lo and behold, and by the way of his actions, it wasn't his fault, it had to be others.
What the hell was a midget doing in the six yard box????? but I am not really surprised, he is everywhere else other than where he should be.
The game was calling for him to be taken off at half time, like he was last year, but again the likes of Nugent and Pascoe just haven't a clue and hopefully they have already packed their bags are on their way.
Incidently. Nugent didn't go back with the team bus, but got into his car, and I hope it is the last that we see of him.
The one thing I will tell the Martinez knockers is
1. Have a look at the table in where we are now.
2. Have a look at the rubbish that dithering Jackett has brought to the Club.
3. The extensions to contracts of players, three in particular that are an absolute waste of space.
Yes that includes Trundle. It's not good enough to score goals only against teams in the bottom half of the table, but against teams like todays
Martinez. You have a hell of a hard job in front of you to sort this mess out
