Two goals within four first-half minutes sent Swansea through to the southern area quarter-finals of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy on Tuesday.
Wycombe gave their hosts an early fright when Matt Bloomfield hit the crossbar from the edge of the area.
But Swansea began to take control and Paul Anderson set up Guillem Bauza for the opening goal on 28 minutes.
Anderson then finished off a fine move to double the lead but Wycombe's Reuben Reid came close twice after the break.

Swansea midfielder Darren Pratley was carried off on a stretcher early in the second half with a serious looking injury to his left leg.

First-half goals from Guillem Bauza and Paul Anderson were enough to ease the Swans into the next round of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy with a 2-0 win over Wycombe.
But the win cam at a cost as influential midfielder Darren Pratley was carried off on a stretcher with his leg in a splint to cast a damper on what was another efficient display from the League One side.
Bauza scored his first goal for the club after a superb change of pace from Anderson, who tore down the right flank before squaring to the Spaniard who side-footed home.

Nine minutes later the provider turned scorer as a header came back into the danger area and Anderson had the easy task of slotting into an empty net.
It could have been so different as the Chairboys almost caught the Swans cold in the fourth minute when Matt Bloomfield was allowed space and time to crack a shot against the crossbar before being cleared to safety.
The visitors were sharp in their passing but too often the final ball went astray and the Swans defence were able to keep them comfortably at bay.

Pratley blow ruins party for Swans Blair Wood, Western Mail
TWO goals in four minutes was enough to send Swansea City through to the third round of the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy in a victory marred by a serious injury to Darren Pratley.
The Swans overcame a slow start to go on and dominate their League Two opposition and realistically Roberto Martinez’s side rarely looked troubled by the Wycombe attack. Swansea were a far cry from their best but they did enough to win as goals from Guillem Bauza and Paul Anderson saw them through.
The victory came at a price though as Pratley was stretchered off after 50 minutes with a suspected broken leg. The midfielder clashed with Bauza and instantly went down writhing in agony.

Martinez made five changes to the team that beat Leyton Orient but the Swans made a slow start and almost found themselves a goal down after just four minutes.
Wycombe overran the Swans five-man midfield and when the ball came to Matt Bloomfield on the right, he cut inside Marcos Painter and drilled his shot past Dorus de Vries.
Swansea’s keeper was beaten but the ball hit the bar and Martinez’s men were able to clear.
The Swans raised their game but neither side created any clear cut chances and the match was struggling to produce any real excitement. But everything changed on the half-hour mark as the Swans took control of the tie.
Martinez’s side had been controlling the tempo of the game and were rewarded with a goal after 29 minutes. The ball broke for Anderson on the edge of the box and the winger beat his defender before putting a dangerous cross into the area.
There was still a lot of work to do but, having bravely got in front of his defender, Bauza hit an unstoppable shot past Przemyslaw Kazimierczak to score his first competitive goal for the Swans.

Martinez urged his team to keep pressing forwards and they were rewarded with a second goal just four minutes later. Amankwaah hit in a deep cross from the right and when Andrea Orlandi volleyed the ball back across Kazimierczak, Anderson was left with the simple task of tapping the ball into an empty net.
The home side should have got a third two minutes later when Bauza sprung the offside trap and found himself one on one with the Wycombe keeper. He unselfishly laid the ball off for Pratley who duly slotted the ball into the empty net only to be denied by a poor offside decision from the linesman.
The Swans continued to push forwards but had to settle for a 2-0 lead at half-time.
They started the second half positively but suffered a setback after 50 minutes when Pratley was forced off the field after his clash with Bauza.

He was replaced by Warren Feeney but the change left the Swans a bit disjointed and Wycombe started to impose themselves on the game. They created their first real chance after 67 minutes when Reuben Reid combined well with Andre Boucoud only to be denied by a smart save from de Vries.
Minutes later Reid was denied again by de Vries but this time it was a lovely long-range effort from the big striker. He turned Garry Monk before unleashing a curling shot from 20 yards but the big Dutchman somehow managed to tip it over the bar.
The Swans soon had their own chance to score when Feeney eluded the offside trap and ran through on goal. Kazimierczak managed to block the ball at the striker’s feet and both Anderson and Feeney saw their follow-ups blocked by some desperate Wycombe defending.
The game continued to go from end to end but, despite seven minutes of injury time, the Swans held on for a comfortable win.
