Soccernet.com report

Sad Swansea tossed away more crucial points as tempers flared at the Vetch Field which saw a blood-curdling finale, but no goals.

Darlington skipper Steve Tutill and Swansea sub Walter Boyd saw red in two ugly incidents - three others were booked during the clash in the closing minutes.

Jamaican Boyd had his marching orders from Gloucester referee Clive Wilkes for appearing to strike Michael Gray only seconds after rising from the bench to replace John Coates.

Earlier, the Swans had shaded a dour contest with Richard Appleby, Jason Smith and Julian Alsop having the best of the openings.

Ex-Sunderland star Marco Gabbiadini blasted a fierce shot for the north-easterners, but Quakers' keeper Mark Samways preserved a point for the promotion hopefuls.
