Keiron was was signed by Brian Flynn in Jan 2003 from Rochdale. He is predominantly a right sided midfielder who is capable of putting of great crosses. Durkan joined his home towns local rivals Wrexham on schoolboy forms, and did enough to be offered professional forms by the Robins. Durkan did well in his teenage years, and did enough to be called up for Eire U-21's for whom he made five appearances. He soon became noticed and fellow Division 2 side Stockport shelled out almost a £100,000 for him back in February 1996. In his following season with the Hatters, he was part of their successful side which won promotion into Division 1 and qualified for the semi finals of the League Cup. First team opportunities in Division One were scarce and in March he left for Second Division Macclesfield Town on a free transfer. He made three appearances for the Silkman before the end of the season helping them to promotion in the process. He played most of the following season for Macclesfield in the Second Division, but could do little to halt their relegation. Since then he has been a regular in the Macclesfield side, but was transfer listed earlier this season. He left the Moss Rose at the end of 2000-01 to sign for Dale despite being offered a long term deal by Macclesfield. Previous Clubs
