After spells at clubs the length and breadth of the country, Nick joined the Swans from Fulham, after being captain of the team that won the 3rd division championship under Mickey Adams and Alan Cork's leadership.

Nick joined the Swans in October 1997 as one of Alan Cork's first signings. He immediately established himself in the first team and after a string of good performances was voted player of the Season that year by members of the mailing list.

In the 5 years that he has been at the Vetch, he has missed very few games through injury, and always gives a good honest performance. Although he is probably not the most spectacular player we have, he has chipped in with some very important goals to complement the consistency he has shown in the years he has played for the Swans.

A university graduate, Nick has a number of strings to his bow, he has been the Swans PFA rep for some time now, and played a huge part in keeping the players together after the well documented problems under Tony Petty's 'leadership' in 2001/2. It was an effort which didn't go unnoticed by the new board of directors when he took over as player coach after Colin Addison and Peter Nicholas were dismissed in the spring of 2002. He has now been named Player manager , and with his contacts at the PFA and at various clubs around the country we hope that this will benefit the club.
