Stuart Roberts
The little unknown lad burst onto the scene at the
beginning of the 1998/99 season and never looked
back. Stuart came through the trainee ranks at the
Vetch and with his blistering pace and tremendous
skill he attracted the attention of a number of
Premier League teams. He has made a number of
appearances for Wales at Under-21 level.
1999/2000
Ankle problems for long periods sidelined Stuart
along with his fitness levels. This bright youngster
featured in the team for the first few matches of the
season but after going down with a suspected
virus, it was discovered that he was burnt out. He
was to make just two appearances from the
substitutes bench towards the end of the season.
Stuart was another player to be selected for Wales
to play in Belarus and against Switzerland.
