David had a pretty good season considering the bad results for the club. Playing 33 league matches (3 as a substitute), Romo showed class on the midfield, although at times fans thought his enthusiasm left something to be desired. His passing and vision for dangerous situation was appreciated early on.

A regular in the squad since joining the team, Romo played 22 matches in the 2nd division and four cup games.
